Hello and good morning everyone. The weather here in Hamburg is grey with horizontal rain, it is beautiful but not my preference. I thought we would take a little virtual trip to Australia to take a peak into the Carlton Residence, a bright and fresh interior designed by Claire at Larritt-Evans, a Melbourne based design firm that holds to a high standard of exquisite style. I love everything about this home mainly because it reminds me of my home back in Arizona. The Carlton Residence is a wonderful example of how to do classic interiors “right”. Enjoy browsing through, do you see anything that you would like to do in your own home? If so, go for it!
The small little urban type garden off the side of this guest room is so sweet. The window shades are tucked up in the ceiling to keep the integrity of the clean lines and classic form. Mixing the textures with wooden braided baskets add a touch of warmth to the already soothing view.
How absolutely fabulous is this potted plant wall? Now this is what I call an urban garden done well! The green against the brick wall is just magnetic to the eye, I think this could be my favorite part of the Carlton Residence. How about you?
I hope you enjoyed this amazing home today and its classic lines and simple touches have inspired you in some way. I wish you all a wonderful day….
